Looking for a rod case is apparently difficult

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good, affordable rod travel/storage case (preferably with room for the reel) for a 6'6" one-piece spinner? I'm finding it next to impossible. Thanks in advance!

Just remember to measure the whole rod and handle, may not be same as written. To make sure case will fit

Are you looking for a bag or a hard case?
If a zippered bag will do The Sportsman’s Guide has one which is faux wool lined and will handle up to 5 rods to 7’6” for about $30

We got a piece of PVC, just longer than the rods we were using. Put a plug in both ends and drilled two holes in the center and put rope through for handle to carry. Made many trips to Mexico with it, and it still works 40 years later.

eBay, Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s, etc.
Making your own with PVC easy.

If you’re planning to fly , check with the airline. I’ve made my own multi-piece rods just for those occasions.
