Did you ever wonder where the time went? Those munchkins grow up so fast. Some to big for their bridges.

But all of them from walkers, to tricycles, to bicycles, to cars, and off to college, the service, or on their own in just a blink of an eye.

Enjoy your time today with them what ever their age. They will always be our kids no matter where they go in life.

Hi Plum. Seems like less than that in the day they go. 20 n 17 feels like just last week Brody n Clay were still small boys. Time does fly 👍👍

Great post Pb,
My youngest is getting married in July at 26. Time sure does fly by. Enjoy the time you can each spare for each other and tell them you love them every chance you get.

Plum you are so right, they grow up too fast. I’ve got 2 grandkids in college and my oldest will graduate next year. She’s a straight A student and going to be a teacher. She loves to fish but has too many things that get in the road when it comes to fishing. She will graduate not owing a dime, scholarships and working her butt off is really paying her big dividends. Her brother is a going to college and is in his second year. He is a total opposite. He’s nothing but lazy and don’t want to work. He’s my hunting buddy and use to be my fishing buddy. Last year I let him mow my yard to earn money for a fishing license then he said “hope your not mad because I’m not going to get a license”. I haven’t paid for anything for him except birthdays and Christmas. His mom and dad buy everything for him but they don’t for his sister and little brother. There’s a double standard in that family! I still love all 6 of my grandkids regardless though.

Hang in there Rut, i was the same way with step sons. Had to pay them to help out around the house for what they would enjoy when the projects were done. Two out of 3 got it later on when the freebies stopped and the other, well he has a medical excuse.

Lead by example and learn how to say no, is our only hope.

Hi Whitey. Nice you n your ex did what was best for the girls. My ex was the opposite. If the kids agreed with me on anything she got mad at them. I gave her everything n paid support. Even when i had my daughter 5 days a wk. I think you grew up up just like them brother 👍👍

For sure, Plum. My youngest just turned 33 and his big sister will be 36 this month. I’m still 25, so I don’t know how that can be, lol. They’ve gifted me with three wonderful grandkids, so there’s the silver lining to these passing years. Thanks for the gratitude reminder.

Gmon Betts. Your in the right track. Grandkids are our rewind button. We get to do it all over again. This time with experience . Our chance to be young again if we're willing to take it. Many days i think dic put wrong date on my birth certificate LOL. FOREVER YOUNG PETERPAN 😄👍👍
