Good morning 5/1 (Page 4): Well crap. Neither one worked out. I was half way to the first one and he text me that he had already sold it. And I had an appointment with him. Go figure.

The second one was a great little boat but it wouldn’t idle down so that you could put it in gear. The engine ran great on high but that doesn’t help you put it in gear. Would have been a heck of a jump from the dock.
He worked on it for about a half hour so I told him to work on it this weekend and if he could get it to run properly then to let me know.
On the up side, it was a beautiful drive and we had lunch at a great bbq joint way out in the middle of nowhere. We had bbq pork sandwiches with coleslaw and sweet tea. I got an order of hush puppies. Lynny had never had them before and she really liked them.
So the hunt for a boat continues.

This is just my opinion but looking at that trailer let’s me think that this boat wasn’t maintained very well. Unless it’s a really sweet deal, I would keep looking. Take your time. Had a great time with g-kids today. Waylon and I pooped out early, but after a nap, they went to the rodeo. Wish I had that kind of energy/stamina !
