Hi guys, first post, just joined. Have been having trouble finding a legal spot to fish the jersey bank for stripers at night. Any suggestions?
You have a couple hundred miles of coast, most of which is open to fishing. We might need a little more detail about the problem.
I think he's asking about the Delaware River. Marlton is too far south for my experience.
Jim, if you're looking to fish the Delaware River it's possible, you just have to be a little careful where. If you go down I 295 to Gloucester County it's a little safer. Just south of Paulsboro you can get to where Raccoon Creek hits the Delaware by the Commodore Barry Bridge. Where the Salem River comes in is another possible area. To the north of Philadelphia I'm not as familiar with but the River towns were pretty industrialized and that leads to certain types of social interaction that you might find unpleasant. Once you get past Washington's Crossing it gets a little more open til Trenton then you get into Hunterdon County where it's more suburban and some open country . By the time you hit the Delaware Water Gap you're getting past the stripers.
As far as the shore is concerned, if you want the northern beaches talk to the major or Lee626. South of Seaside to Atlantic City call me.
