That’s why God gave us memories, for Days like today. My Mom is still with me, but lost my Dad so many years ago it’s kinda hard to remember some things, I was 13. I do wonder from time to time what he might have been able to teach me. Prayers to you and your Mom BB

Sorry BB, lost mine 28 years ago in January of this year. She was almost 64. I think about her every day as I am sure you do yours.

Me too RP. Still have my Mom, 93, but lost my Dad when I was 11.
Memories are what we hold on to BB. Glad you have good/pleasant memories of your Mom. So many don't have good ones of either parent. We are blessed to have good ones.

Wasn't gonna talk about this on here, but since we're on the topic, my mom suffered a massive stroke yesterday. She is 99 and has had a good long run. She is unconscious and unaware but comfortable and safe as can be under the circumstances. She is in Indiana and my sister is with her. I know a lot of you pray. If you do, please pray that she does not suffer and that she does not linger.

Spirit my Heart is with you and her! Sorry to hear about your Mom, my prayers are with her and your whole family. I hear your words, and still believe our time is not “Our time” but do pray for No suffering for your mom. We All know it’s not our choice when we leave this world, but if we believe, we know it’s coming when it’s supposed to. Still not a fun time for those left behind, but still our time to gather, remember, and believe. My GM left us a number of years ago, fell, broke a hip and “said No!! “ I’m not doing this. I’m so glad she did not have to suffer too long. It still hurt, but that’s why we were givin a heart. Sorry, I’m rambling and tearing, my prayers are with you & yours.
