I do real well there mid May to the end of June. Smoke colored tube with red and silver specks. I make my own but the store bought ones work fairly well too. Gitzit tubes in smoke color and 3” long. From the bank or a boat either one. Where the umatilla river flows into the Columbia is a great spot for walleye in my experience. Also good where the Snakes comes in. Tough bank fishing there but we get lots of them just below the confluence there. They’re feeding on little fish coming into the Columbia. Same thing with most tributaries. Good luck. I’m thinking it’s a touch early for good numbers in those spots though.
