Yes, absolutely correct. Fun catching and because they're an oily fish, one of the best cut baits for reds, snooks, etc!

Definitly a ladyfish. Make great cut bait or whole for monsters. Too many bones to make eating worth your time.
Yep lady fish ... poor man’s tarpon
It’s a lady fish. I use to catch these at night while living in Hawaii.

Ladyfish aka Skipjack. Much underrated species, IMO. Great acrobats, make fast, hard runs and they usually are found in like size schools. Catch one and there are more around and you won't land them all.
