Does anybody have any good recommendation on some good cleaning products to get rid of oxidation on a bass boat but it not hurt the gel coating on the boat.
Vinegar. Use it with water and wipe down boat fresh out of water. Is it water spots your talking about? If it’s oxidation of paint it’s permanent it doesn’t go away without painting it. GEL Coat is final layer on outside. Keepin it out of sunshine will prevent oxidation
ive always went to a marina or the local hardware store and asked what they had on the shelves.

If fiberglass rubbing compound won't clean it up, the only other thing I know of is wet sanding, and then buffing.
You really need to know what you're doing ,so you don't sand through the gelcoat on the high spots.
trying to think of the last can of stuff i used on my boat and it came out quite shiny and gleamy looking....starbright?
Thanks Bassin I will try it.
Great stuff, I need to find something to remove the river gunk on my Aluminum Bass tracker from fishing the Mississippi river .
My old fiberglass boat I used Sno Bowl toilet cleaner.
Eats thru grime like no other.
I’ve tried other brands and none work as well as Sno Bowl. Don’t know why

Has the Sno Bowl ever hurt the gel coating on your boat and do you leave it on or rinse it off and buff.
