Don't remember the source for 'good night, Irene' (except for the song), but the 'Mrs. Calabash' quote I believe is from Groucho Marx, and the 'God bless' is from Red Skelton !

Jimmy saying that - I just don't remember the source of that

Good to know ! As a kid watching these programs/movies, I often wondered who he was talking to
and why the frequent references !
