31* now, 43* later, kind of a nice day, but fresh. It looks like tomorrow could be a fishing day. A high of 57* with a west wind gusting up to 18 MPH. We can live with that. I'm not sure where to go fishing. The word is that the walleyes are done spawning and on their way to the recovery area. It could very well be, the last time I was down to the Miss. the water temp. was 50*. So ya, they are out of there. The search will be on, you will see boats all over the place, mostly at the wing dams, but also in the cuts and slews.
I got one fender on the boat trailer yesterday afternoon and started to put the other on when Marion called me and said it was "beer time". Done for the afternoon, I'm not going to argue with her about that. If she says that it is "beer time", then it is. No questions or comments are necessary. The only problem I had with the fenders was centering the fender over the wheel. It took a while to figure that out and then holding the fender up in place in order to mark the holes to drill on the frame of the trailer. I had better get the other fender on today, or I will be going down fishing with only one fender on the trailer. I may live in the hills, but I'm not a red nick, well maybe, but I try not to act like one.
Have a good one, guys and Kandy.
