Neighbors complaining about smoking fish

Mine is homemade and it works great and yeah as far as the neighbors getting samples they sure love the hell out of them last week

They only complain about it not being ready yet, but I can see it happening. Some people would complain about the fresh grass smell when you mow. Just move your smoker to the other side of the house. Best to chose your fights wisely if you have neighbors that sensitive. Unfortunately, in most cities the law would be on there side.

They called the police and the fire department and and both First Responders said there was no complaint to be made but being the nice guy that I am I ruined my fish and and shut the smoker off

I don't have any neighbors that close, however if they really complained I would buy a half dozen hogs adn pen them upwind from them!!!

Up here we have a guy who changed his "oil burner" furnace to "wood burner". For two years whenever he fired it up the first couple of times people would call and fire dept. would show up. I could tell from the smell it was him but guess others got scared it was a house burning. He burned some nasty smelling stuff sometimes.

One of my neighbors stormed over and actually pushed through my gate into my back yard and went into histerics about her house filling with smoke from my stick burner. I had one of my handguns in plain sight on a table.
She said "what, are you going to shoot me now?" I called the police and charged her with trespassing.
I can now hear her slamming windows everytime I use the smoker. Police showed up 3-4 times after that incident upon her request and told her to be a better neighbor.
A week later, both my US flag & Navy flag were ripped from their mounts on my front stoop.
I love my neighbor!
She said "what, are you going to shoot me now?" I called the police and charged her with trespassing.

I have a old dome smoker I put a gas burner in it and use a mixture of fruit tree sticks some in a brine and smoke them
