Fred I didn't show them anything, when I made the appointment they told me to bring proof of ID but when we went thru the line the lady checking us off the list just ask my name she checked it on the list and we went on thru. I had made two appointments one at the health department and one at a local pharmacy, the pharmacy ask me to bring insurance card but I canceled that appointment after I got my shot at the health department. I kinda wondered why they wanted insurance card at the pharmacy but didn't use them so I didn't ask why.

Yeah Ivey, we got ours at a Medical Lab, and there were at least 25 people working there. They said they were billing the Insurance company for "administrative costs ", and Medicare for those who had that. I know SOMEONE has to pay all the people who were working there. As long as it didn't cost me anything, I don't care.

I'm like you I don't care if it didn't cost me anything our tax dollars are paying for it in the first place. The people here in TN working the health Department are volunteers so they weren't payed anything. When I went for my C***D test I ask the nurse who did my brain tickle if they were paying them hazard pay she told me she was volunteering and so did the woman checking the list the second. The first shot they had the national Guard there assisting so tax dollar pay there too.

Without a doubt but that why they call it the volunteer state. Takes special people to give of themselves in a high threat job, I think they should get hazard pay and told them so with a big "thank you."

Wouldn’t this world be a much better place if more people cared about other people more than their pocket book?
It takes a pretty brave sole to volunteer for a job they could easily die from. It’s nothing different from a war zone.

True. I have two clients who are doctors and good friends of mine. They told me the same thing. Not just deaths but cases. Some wont believe that but I sure do.
