Don't wear regular glasses, just 'readers' as needed, but they
weren't enough to read this, even
at maximum zoom !
In my 8th-grade year ('62/'63), some
of those countries mentioned in the geography section didn't even exist !
State capitals used to be an easy subject - nowadays I'm lucky to remember my own name ! In school,
I might have pulled a 92% to 95 % grade on that test - now, I'd be lucky
to pull a 75% score !
SENILITY STRIKES (AGAIN) !

Anyone remember diagramming a sentence in English class? How many sentences have you diagrammed since you finished high school? And now that I have a calculator, I've forgotten a LOT of math. No way I could extract a square root with a pencil and paper!
Back in the 1960's, there was a lot of federal money for education, and quite a few liberals got degrees in philosophy. Anyone ever seen a classified ad like this? "NOW HIRING - PHILOSOPHERS WANTED"
