Gmorn everyone. Today i will be off site for awhile. Four years ago today i lossed my daughter. For a couple yrs my mind blocked it out. It allowed me to slowly accept the fact I'd never see her again. Time to wrap my head around the one thing no parent wants to go through. The loss of a child. To all of you that has dealt with this tragedy.. My heart goes out to you. I can only urge those with children spend every minute you can with them. Don't wake up one day and have regrets about lossed time. There honesty isn't a rewind button. Y'all have a nice day stay safe. Hug your child today.

So sorry for your incredibly unfair and tragic loss. It’s a parents worst fear. Your thoughts on regret are wise and become more relevant the older we are. Thanks for sharing and keep moving forward. Take care of yourself.

Stay strong Grizz. Two of my four children won't talk to me. I appreciate the two that do and love all four. I hope your day has a balance of happiness and sadness for your loss.

Griz, a few of us feel your pain because we to have have been in your shoes.

But all of us are here for you. Please just take the day well into the night and reflect on the good times you had and knowing that one day you two will share a heavenly view together.

Hi Fellows. Thank you all so much for your kind words. I'd like to thank ea of you personally but know i appreciate it. I would feel guilty that it felt like i missed my pets than my daughter. As time went by i know i wasn't dealing with it. Over time things would hit me hard. Yesterday with the remember this n that thread i keep reflecting on my time with Michelle. As the night went on it all came out. I knew i had to accept reality. After short chat with a very nice lady i started getting back on track. My pup was getting a haircut so i didn't have her to make me laugh for awhile. Michelle will always be my little girl. Thanks to a FS thread i can heal n know Michelle is in a good place n I'll see her again. ☺☺

G i know you've been thru hell n you're still here.Administration should know how much more FS is than fishing. It's. Total strangers one day n in a short time they feel like friends. We get fishing advice humor support so many things. I've been severely bent n bruised at times but never broken. Life will try to break us for sure. Like they say what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. I think many fighters n survivors are with us on FS. I was dead set against any kind of social media but now i look forward to thought of the day n good morning. πŸ‘πŸ‘
