I headed to bishop in two weeks and hope I do as well. Most of my hot spots are iced over but the lower elevation ponds and streams should be good.

The highlight of the morning was this little guy and his dad walking by as my pole was getting bit so I stopped them handed the rod to the little man and he caught that fish and that is his first fish ever made my day

I live in a small town called Templeton just North of San Luis Obispo just south of Paso Robles and about 15 miles east of Morro Bay I don't believe I've ever been in your area but would not hesitate to make it up that way
