Rise and shine knuckleheads and yes that includes you OZ. You got to sleep in way late today. This is Ding Dong speaking. For us OZ it's 48° going for a high of 56°. 99% chance of rain after 12 PM. Our low will be 40°.

I'll sit at home and watch it rain. Getting my youngest son to take me is nearly impossible. Especially if it's good weather. Like in the 70's, clear and no wind. I just don't understand it. He use to love fishing. Now I feel like I'm in prison.

Sorry to hear that TC. That’s a heart breaker. With my son l had to ask myself why does my son shy away sometimes? I realized that every time he came by either I or my wife would ask him to help us with something. (He would hear now when we meant when you have a chance) He is willing to help but sometimes he just wants to visit. So I declared a moratorium on asking him for help. It helped. Maybe your son lost the bug or has other interests like a woman.

He's married and lives at our house with his wife and child plus another one on the way.
He's never going to move out. I'll haveta move out if I want to experience the empty nest syndrome.

Same thing happened to me but they were finishing their degrees. They’ve been out for 5 years. I remember the first morning after they moved out. At breakfast I asked my wife what’s that noise? She answered I don’t hear anything..... my answer exactly!
Loved having them though.
So tell your boy go fishing with me or pay (more?) rent.

I hear you TC. I just got rid of the last one this past Thanksgiving. She'll be 48 in August. She was going through a real bad time in her life so I provided a home for her for a while. A while turned into about 4 years. Mrs and I are 73. I love em to death, I've got four of em and all but one has returned to the nest a stayed a while at one time or another. But it's time for us to have some alone time, you know? This is the first time since our oldest was born that we've lived by ourselves. That was 52 years ago. I offer no advice, ya gots to do what ya gots to do.

I keep reminds him that this is not his house and I'll do as I please even if that means me walking around inside my house in my underwear ( not that I would). I use that as a scare tactic. What's scarier then all your friends and family see your old man almost naked. I know, they catch me and my wife having sex in the kitchen.

You have sex in the kitchen? Stove, fridge, counter? Never mind. No need to answer TC.

Grab some ice cream from the freezer and there you have it. PIE ALAMODE, you can also use chocolate syrup but no sprinkles. Sprinkles hurt.
