Hi, I would love to hear how the crappie are biting and what types/colors of bait and lures y’all are using?

Crappie here in south Central Tennessee are biting pretty good, they have been moving shallower every week with water temps going up. 62* surface temp is bringing them into the spawning mood. One day they may be in 5 ft the next they're back out in 20ft. depending on weather conditions. Live minnows are the old favorite but a small jig will take them readily. Black with chartreuse has produced as has pink and green or a standard shad color. Been catching some really nice ones with the biggest at 14 1/2 inches so far this year.
Awesome! Save a few for me
