Ice off rivers and small lakes, the big lakes will be a bit yet before totally ice free, for the fishing bug hard now, hoping to make it to Devils lake soon.

Just noticed your location, l have fished out of s padre before. My dad used to spend the winters in Weslaco TX.

We Winter down there now, it takes a while to figure out where the "Honey Holes" are but once you know, it good fishing.
I fished Devils Lake in 2019, it took me a few days to figure that lake out too. It's not at all like the MN. lakes. I don't know if Devils Lake is like all of the ND. lakes or not, I have only fished Devils Lake. I didn't like it, but a lot of people do.
You wouldn't by chance know Bruce Moe would you, he lives in Moorhead, he is a contractor and builds houses.
