Ditto. At least so far this year! Not a bite in 5 attempts so far this year. Blaming it on water being cold!!

Hey Long, I’m not very good fisherman but have caught some nice fish in my time. I’m 72 yrs young and feel older lol. Health issues but still trying. My saying all these years have been “Enjoy fishing, catching fish is a BONUS “. I have taught my kids
that.
I enjoy it too. Relaxing at times and enjoy it. Did a lot of fishing alone. Can go on and on but think you know what I mean. When you catch a decent fish take pics so you can look back at the times of the BONUS 🌴😎🌴

LA there's a lot of days I wonder if there's fish in the lake, the next I'll get them so it makes the blank days all worth it.

Welcome to the Forum, LongA, sometimes the fish catches you, and then, sometimes you catch the fish.

Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.

I spend 6 hours standing on a pier looking at the Atlantic. I caught one fish. Beautiful day in the sunshine.

The good days will outnumber the bad. Some of them you may just have to redefine good. Did you get some fresh air, did you have some laughs, did you share the experience with a friend or significant other? Did they have fun? Did you learn something? Those are good days, too!

Sometimes you’re the bug, sometimes you’re the windshield. Lol.
I believe we’ve all felt that way one time or another. 😄
