I was fishing earlier today and I caught a tiny roach which had swallowed the hook. I was using the disgorger to unhook it and it suddenly started riggling madly and I accidentally cut it and it started bleeding. He’d already been out the water for about a min and a half so I had to put him back but do u think he survived? Please be honest

Unlikely. That blood in the water, you know? But hey, most little fish don't survive, so don't feel too bad.

Where did you catch this roach fish. They aren't common in our waters that i know of. As far as surviving most likly not since he was bleeding.

But you gave it your best so don't beat yourself up over it.

People around here call bluegill roaches. My roaches were always in the ashtray.

Roach is the name of a 'coarse' fish caught in England.

You can get real small circle hooks and that won't happen again, sorry to say the little nipper died.

Probably didn’t make it, but you tried and that is All we can do sometime’s . If the little one makes it, great, you can catch it next year. If it doesn’t, the Eagles or Osprey will thank you, they need to eat as well.
