Has anyone seen the new tool for helping tie blood knots? Just saw it at Bass Pro website. Not much information or any videos. Cost is $15.00.

I've used this tool several times. It makes tying a blood knot pretty simple. Overlap the lines and secure with the clips on each side of the tool. Insert the little handle between the two lines and turn five or six times. Place the tag ends of the line one up from bottom, the other down from top and tighten. Works better with smaller diameter lines, but overall is a handy little tool. Simplifies the blood knot by giving you an "extra" hand to hold the lines.

Found a similar tool in Mad River outfitters web site for 8.95. Found three videos in you tube how to use them.
