Looking the perfect swimbait rod and reel

Its slim pickins over there at tackle warehouse these days and I've been looking all around to find my next set up. Was wondering if anybody knows where to get a g Loomis imx pro 966? In terms of reels I've had my eye on the diawa tatula 300 series. I thought about the dobyns fury 906 and a lews super duty 300 but I really want this setup to last me a long time. Anybody have suggestions on set ups they use? I'm thinking my jig rod can take me to 2 ozs so looking from about 2 through 8 somewhere in that range. Know that was a rambling read thanks in advance

Thaddidousblynn: I have a hard time following you. It would have been more helpful if you had discussed what you were fishing for. How long a rod and reel lasts has more to do with the care and maintenance than anything else. Just Sayin...RJS
