Where is the best place to catch catfish in Southern Georgia?

Clinton P: Folks are not likely to give up their favorite honey holes! You will have to do a little researh and find some likely spots on your own. Do you fish from a boat, or from shore. That will make a differernce.

Catfish are almost universal and live alll over the U.S. and are particularly plentiful in the South, so you should not have a great difficulty finding a likley spot. They also eat almost anything, so I recommend any kind of live bait, which is preferred, such as large minnows or perch, if you want o catch big catfish. Check your state's game laws about whether such is legal.

Now, if you are a bank fisherman, look for drifts or any holes in the bank, or such. Big cats like to have thier own castle, or den and will kick out smaller competitiors for a choice den. Also, if you can, try fishing at night, when they are more active. Good luck and post your pictures. Just Sayin...RJS
