Anybody out there caught a fish in every state? Wife made me take her to every state because I had been to every state. The question just erupted about catching in every state. If not all then how many states?

I have been to all 50 states but only fished and caught fish in 11. Might have to add that to my bucket list.

This was posted either late last year or earlier this year.

Absolutely! Think we have all been in that state at one time or another😂😂.

I would not be as picky as those guys wanting to catch the state fish in every state. Don’t think I will live that long. Just any fish in every state would blow my mind now days.

Back when I was traveling all over the world and the country I had it as my goal to do just that - catch one in every state and one from at least every country that I visited. I pretty much gave up on that quest when I retired from USN. Just don't have the wanderlust like I used to. I like to stay pretty close to home any more. I've caught fish in about 20 states and in at least a dozen countries. Best fishing I've ever experienced was in the Marshall Islands - Eniwetok Atoll. Big (BIG) barracudas and lots of em. Grouper and black sea bass. We ate well.

I like the idea. I've been to more than half but only caught fish in two states so I don't think I could ever make all 50.

My list includes Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Michigan, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Florida, Colorado, Wyoming, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba. Hard to pick a best day. It’s a 3-way tie between a charter out of Berien Springs Michigan, the spillway below the dam at Tobin Lake in Saskatchewan, and Granite Lake at the base of Square Top Mountain in the Wind River Range in Wyoming.
