I would recommend Plano over Flambeau for the same money, but that is just a personal thing. I love the trays to pull out and see what I want to use and yet stay organized as compared to the old drawers you would pull out to find a bait got hung up such as in the old models.
I recommend you put your hands on each to see if the upper compartments will hold what you anticipate the need for them to do. Both are solid companies and those are nice designs. If you end up with extra space, if you’re like me...you will fill it up with more stuff you probably won’t need 😉, but remember...you still have to carry it!
Good luck with your search and Happy Birthday!

Always double check price from Amazon to Walmart On Line. My box was $59 at Amazon and $39 at Walmart where I also get free shipping. Just a thought> MY box holds a ton of stuff and it is filled up. I have to race my wife to the mail box to see if I got any presents that day. What is the saying you can't be too thin or too rich or have too much fishin stiff. I added the last part.

I would stick with Plano 1364 with 4 trays of the 3650 size. Awesome. Just sayin.
