I've fished it multiple times when I was living in Texas. I retired in 2018 and moved out of State. Fun lake for Bass and Crappie.

It's been a long time since i've fished Limestone, but last time I was there a white spinnerbait worked well for me around docks and off grass on banks.

I grew up there. My parents had lake lots on the water & that is where I learned to fall in love with fishing. Large mouth bass all day long on spinner lures and cork & minnows! It was an awesome childhood and still visit to this day. Planning to try my hand at catfishing next time I go back. 😊 good luck & have fun!

Well hello it's nice to meet you if you go up 45 to Centerville and hang a left on 7 go down a little ways and then you hang a right you'll run right out there and get your feet wet it's one of the few lakes left that don't have a consumption ban on it just about everything south of there you can't eat the fish out of it

That sounds pretty exciting too! I was born in Houston & have relatives still there. Being exposed to city & country life was a great experience growing up. Although, my best memories were in the country. Lake Limestone is one of those places not many have heard of & you get a funny look when you mention it lol I hope it's still the way it was back in the day. Good luck on catching the big ones!

Yes the place brings back great memories and I'll cherish them forever. Sadly, the people I knew mostly either moved away, went to prison or passed away. I guess thats life anywhere ya go. 🤷
