For you Tesla fans what is the range before recharge? I wonder If it would get me a cross Houston much less out of town? How many recharges on the way to Austin or San Antonio?

The sun definitely turned into the path of the car that hit him, maybe his view was blocked by the other traffic or just saw the wrong car. Either way, his bad.

I am with Ft, if vision is blocked why chance it? Either day just ruin many days for both.

That's the same scenario we fear riding our Motorcycles, someone turning left across your path. You have no time to react. People who do that usually don't use their turn signals either.

Funny, I actually saw an accident almost identical to that. Went on to finish off a landscaping job I was working on and swung back that way. The cop was still there writing it up so I stopped and asked him if he wanted to know what happened and he said "You WANT to make a statement?". He just couldn't understand. Got one call from the hitters lawyer and that was the end of that.

Well, that is respectable, but what about at the other end? Say I leave Houston on the way to someplace beyond San Antonio that is 425 miles I do not know if I can recharge there or along the way. Just Sayin...RJS
