Hello fishermen,
I only went fishing twice with my brother and he did all the work, now I want to go again with a friend who is even less experimented than me
I plan on trying to catch studs on a bank with a simple 10 euros pole
Are there any dangers to be weary of? What kind of spot should we look for? Will it be awkward if we don't catch anything? Any overall advice?
also should I practice on my own before bringing my friend or is there no need to?
Thank you in advance kind people

I don't know what a stud is or a 10 euros pole. But angling is really quite simple and basic. You use your rod to present bait to fish. Of course it gets way more complicated than that, but when you're starting out, the key is KISS. If you don't know what that is, look it up. Dangers? Where you fishing? Some places are more dangerous than others, but you know your environment better than any of us. Just be cautious and pay attention to your surroundings. There is no shame in not catching fish, it's why we call it fishing and not catching. You're talking to an expert. I've been successfully fishing (and catching) for over 60 years, and I haven't caught a fish since December of 2019. Not for lack of trying. And no, practice with your friend, just be up front that you don't know what you're doing any more than your friend does. Hopefully you'll have a great time figuring it out together.
Not sure what kind of equipment you can get for 10 EUROS, but I would recommend a little practice on your own as you don’t want to hurt yourself or your friend. The first trip out you may not catch anything, but don’t be disappointed. Where are you fishing and what might be swimming by?
