Always wanted to fish Douglas, just never got there. It's a flood control lake and so is Tim's Ford Tim's is on the way up now usually full pool by April. Here's a site you can watch the lake levels. Choose the lake and hit "view info" it's very accurate.

Awesome thanks
I use that site a lot, Tim's Ford is a TVA controlled lake and so are the majority of lakes I fish. The release schedule can be used when fishing below the dams, like here it's really hard to trout fish below the dam when they are generating so I use it like that and knowing the flow rate tells what current rate on the lake is. I use it to know when to fish the points where fish will hold during times with current. There's a lot of information on those few numbers when used right.
Thanks it’s a family trip heard the fishing can be great
If it as usual, it will be up close to full pool by that date and fishing should be good. Some excellent crappie
fishing there as well as bass. I don't bass fish but I see many bass boats
out there. Good luck. Also lot for family to do in Sevierville/Pigeon Forge.

Hey Johnahan, good luck in Tenn.
Are you located in Sweetwater NJ on Mullica near Batsto?
I’m thinking of moving to that area this summer. What do you catch the crappie on. I was reading where they don’t allow minnows for bait in Tennessee. Minnows are about all I use here in al.
Yes we are are you close by ?
Crappie love minnows here on the river as well
I live on Weiss lake here in Alabama.
