Knee surgery 3 weeks ago and getting back to walking without much pain and no drugs after the first few days.

Well I am back after cataract and glaucoma surgery this am. Doc said all went well except for a couple extra bruises he gave me that would be no charge for them. Might turn into a black eye tomorrow. Said it would be a couple - three days for the swelling and blury vision to go away.

Getting old is not for the young! Wife says I deserve everything I get for all the years of living/acting like a youngster when I wasn’t πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

Hopefully when I get back from granddaughters wedding first part of April the water will not be so thick and can start tearing it up.
Take care my forum friends and send the pics! I can still see them with one eyeπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Good to hear Hunt, you must be rubbing off on me. My knee has been bothering me for awhile again and keep hoping it goes away. Before we moved doc down south said i have something loose in there. Then it went away. Go Figure. Tomorrow we have eye doc appt. Oh such fun getting old.

Glad to hear everything went well Hunt! Suffering from the thick water problem here too, although its melting some now. Still calling for snow in the forecast again, just in time for 1st day of Spring. Maybe it will break next week, and I can uncover the boat and start getting it ready.

At least if something is loose in there its your knee and not your head.

Good luck Hunt. My wife had a hole in her retina. Surgery helped some but still diminished vision in that eye. Sounds like alot of us are kids with alot of experience.

I hear that !! I have macular degeneration in both eyes, the wet kind, so I get a shot in each eye in the AM and sit still with them shut the rest of the day. They don't hurt, just really uncomfortable, like having sand in them. The next AM things are pretty blurry but better and the next day I can go fishing...every 7 weeks. Still better than the alternative. Just press on

Wishing you good luck with both surgeries Huntm22. Do your rehab and use all your drops and you will be fine. Tight lines!
