I have had a few different lengths and actions the past few seasons and I haven’t been able to find one that suits my needs exactly how I want. There aren’t many sporting goods/tackle shops near me to get a feel first hand, so buying online is my only option. I am looking for something 6’, 1 or 2 piece and something that has a bit of spine to it. I really like to jig pretty light lures with 2 or 4lb test and I find that my rods just have too much whip in them when I want a more subtle action. I kind of want it to feel like I can feel my line at the very tip and when I give a pop, there is only flex at the top 1/8 or so of the rod if that makes sense. Any suggestions or recommendations are greatly appreciated. Price can be higher if it’s worth it, but I have ~$150-$200 to work with. Thanks!

You’ll not be disappointed with that setup. Rod is so sensitive that you’ll feel every tick of your split shot on the rocks.
Try a st croix “trout” light or ultralight- sizes range from 5’-4 to 7’; weights on some models as low as 1/32 oz lures. Excellent rods and only about $110 - very sensitive and plenty of backbone.
I been looking at the loomis on legacy out of Evansville
