Which one is more comfortable?

That’s a tough call . Personal preference I guess
Properly balanced and appropriate for the technique, either can be a pleasure to fish
Wow...this will be a personal preference thing. A balanced setup is a thing of beauty, but arthritis may cause completely different results for some. Some rods have a hump in the palm section which may help, too. I hope you find something that works for you.

Both are good - your choice.
I use both. It just depends on the type of fish and baits I’m After and throwing.
I prefer baitcasters except when fishing lite line but they both work good so whatever floats your boat
Both get one of ea n have the best of both worlds
I like bait casters for trolling. I use Ambassador reels that have the level wind that moves on line out. 15' for a full cycle so I know how much line I have out. You can also get level wind reels that have line counters. I prefer the spinners for casting.
I think spin casters are easier for beginners on up. Both have trade offs for beginners. Line twist can happen with spin casters while backlash is the headache of the baitcaster. Suffice it to say I was able to master the spin caster much faster than the baitcast. I'd also say that I prefer the baitcast in general but it took a while to figure out how to effectively cast it with anything but a heavy lure. Actually I'm still working on it.
Most of the time, the fish simply don't care. What said above about figuring out what works best and is most comfortable for you. Agree with personal preference.
Friend, you are the only one who can decide. There was a prior post that suggested get one of each and learn for yourself. It will take time and effort, but you alone are the judge. Just Sayin...RJS
I like the feel of a baitcaster over a spinning reel less grip pressure on my hand and with a spinning reel you have to wrap your fingers around the pole.
Friend if you fish hard all day, it helps to have two different systems to relieve your strained muscles. You also might be helped by learning to cast with your off hand. That way it relieves the muscle strain of casting the same way all the time.
Once, In Louisiana we were fishing and catching both black bass and red drum in this brackish bayou. Up in the morning, I began to backlash almost every cast. I knew something was amiss, I looked down and realized that since I have been grabbing the redfish I had caught by sticking my thumb in their mouths and getting a lot of small lacerations on my thumb, it was getting awfully stiff, affecting my casting. So to give it some relief, I simply changed hands! Just Sayin...RJS
