Any information on the Metolious arm at Billy Chinook lake??

Check the fishing regulations first. The bull trout in the lake have very strict regulations. My fishing guide I used for years in central Oregon has retired now but he showed me lots of pictures of bull trout he used to catch throwing rapala plugs from a boat toward the shoreline in March/April each year. Later kokanee salmon enter into the catch. You need a boat to access the lake for the best fishing easily due to steep shorelines. If you want more information and a good experience I would hire a knowledgeable guide first before you do it yourself. This lake has 3 long river arms and there are lots of empty water. Gorgeous scenery to enjoy while you wait for the fish to bite.

Thank you for the information.. very much aware of the special rules, just looking for info to target the Bull trout.. have used Mag Lips recently to some success, interested in more tips and specific locations, thanks.
