I once went in to buy some line for an upcoming trip. I wanted to make sure I had fresh line on all the reels I'd be using and fished a lot up to that point so they needed it. I started gathering my line and saw some of my favorite lures on sale so started gathering those to "freshen up" my already ridiculously large collection. I was walking past the reels and had been debating on getting a new musky setup. I didn't really need it but it would surely be nice to have another setup for some reason. All of a sudden I'm checking out with an over $600 bill and I'm thinking, "What the hell just happened?" π€£π€£π€£

My first trip to a BassPro shop in K.C. on a visit back "home".....and I NEVER target bass, ever.....lol.
Came for a boat cover and a new net.....Aaaand maybe a few lures...and some new line...and some esoteric terminal tackle....and some more lake-troll rigs, and dodgers, some flies that might be good back in the PNW, and a couple of those telescopic poles for crappie, and an inflatable PFD, and a "Fishin'Buddy" finder/depth gauge....and some socks....and a nice hat.....yeah... about $600+. Fun afternoon.
Anybody heard the arrival date of the "stimulus checks" yet ???......lol.

No, you were not!
Guess I'm a little guilty too
Always take a paper bag full of money when you are going to get a few things at the tackle store.
First time I bought a high end outfit Shimano Aldebaran and a G Loomis GLX.
I had to go outside to smoke a cigarette and get my head straight before I could complete the purchase.
