It's Monday knuckleheads. Get up. After work, a trip to BPS to get the license and try not to buy anything else. 55 and sunny today.

A grasshopper walks into a bar and sits down. The bartender says, "Hey, we have a drink named after you. Really, the grasshopper says, you have a drink named Fred?" A moldy, oldy joke today.

Have a good one clones. Mid 70s this week by Wednesday. Spring approaches clones and ding dongs.

Done with that part, no more snow and I had to replace the sump pump. 23* this morning and going to 46. Maybe a little boat shopping this morning, have to drop in at Cabelas. Looks like a good sale on plastics and I might pick up a new ultra lite spinner. Striper fishing on Wednesday, first of the year.

Ya know, OJ, in '91 we built a beautiful home on a point that overlooked three valleys below. We built it on rock and the excavator had to dynamite the rock so that we could put a basement in and have a walkout. We tiled and put a sump pump in. It would run if we got an inch of rain because the rainwater would run down in the hole made for the basement. We never had a wet basement but the pump sure ran a lot. In '04 we built across the road and up the hill a little, tiled, and put a pump in, and the only time that it has run was in '07 when we got 17" of rain in 24 hours, it ran twice. I haven't heard it run since. Are you setting on a lot of clay? That will do it, have you had a wet basement? Say, like when the power goes out and the pump won't run?

The market is slowly creeping up, Mike, what is a 10-day old calf worth with today's market?

Get up in the 60's today, it'll be nice. Gonna drive down to Wilson lake in north AL this morning to look at a house on that lake. It's on a spot I've fished hundreds of times and really close to Pickwick Lake also so there's two pluses. If we like it I'll have to sell all the property I own to buy it but that's ok to, getting to old to keep it all up anyway. we'll see today.

So we finished insulating under the floor yesterday and my eyes feel like goop and I had safety goggles the whole time. Rubber gloves and long sleeves kept most of the itching down so not to bad there. WV Mike's suggestion on the tape removing the itchy stuff works, Thanks' Mike. I just hate it took two days to put up 30 rolls and my shoulder is really feeling it this morning. Great day to all...

I hope the lake house works out for you Ivey. I've fished Pickwick and that is some beautiful country. I've never fished Wilson lake but I'm sure it's beautiful as well. Good luck
.
