I have an old Merc 110 2stroke in need of a new prop. Anybody have an answer of who and where I can get one? Seems at this age there isn’t any data support.

9.8???? wasn't it a 9.9. The only Merc. that I have ever owned was a 7.5. I would put the 7.5 Merc. on the floor of the old Thompson Strip boat and the 5 hp Evinrude on the stern. That way I would usually make it back to the dock. If there was a lot of current on the Miss. river, I would have to put both of them on the back. And once in a while, the Evenrude would take a crap. Just like on the salt, it a good idea to have two motors back there.

Merc 400 is a 45HP. I wasn't sure what a 110 is. Thought maybe 11hp. What Saw is typing makes perfect sense. Should be able to get a Prop made for 8-12HP Motors. Mercury Dealer should be able to point you in right direction if not have something.. Diameter / Pitch and Shaft are the Variables with Props. If an Engine will never rev up when in gear and get boat moving along well enough the pitch is too steep.

FairviewMarine 503-492-4608 is here in Oregon and may have something for old vintage Mercury. There used to be a few more here due to so much big river boating but there is fewer Classic Boat Junk Yards here now. Brad is owner at Fairview Marine. If he doesn't have something he usually tells me who can help.

All the listings for the higher horsepower motors seem to start at 1994 while mine is from the 70’s, like 1975!
