Seresto Flea Collars Linked To Almost 1,700 Pet Deaths, Report Says...
A report from the Midwest Center for Investigative Reporting has linked a popular flea and tick collar to the deaths of nearly 1,700 pets.
Published in USA Today on Tuesday, the report lays out documents from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that link Seresto flea and tick collars to thousands of pet deaths and injuries (not to mention some human injuries as well).
According to the documents submitted to the Midwest Center for Investigative Reporting, the EPA has received reports of at least 1,698 pet deaths related to the popular Seresto collars from 2012 to June 16, 2020. Overall, the agency took in more than 75,000 Seresto incident reports in that time period.
The EPA documents were obtained through a public records request from the Center for Biological Diversity, a nonprofit organization that keeps an eye on the EPA. The center provided the documents to the Midwest Center for Investigative Reporting, an independent, nonprofit newsroom.

Very sad as aside from a sick child, there is not much worse than a sick pet as (like a child) they canโt tell you what is wrong.
Thanks for sharing.

That's good to know, but when you use a flea collar all the medicine is concentrated around the pets neck so it's breathing in all those fumes, that's why i use regular flea medicine

Thanks for sharing, Ron, it's good to have you back. Marion saw this on Facebook and shared it. Both neighbors use them. We just use the regular flea collar and replace it every three months.
Very sad indeed and look at how many young kids are petting and hugging on these pets. So it's been eight or nine years so what is the EPA going to do wait for 20 years and see how many more they're going to kill. Sorry guys don't mean to get sidetracked but the EPA is a joke look what they let these companies dump down our waterways and all they do is slap them on the wrist. If the company saves 500 million by doing that then they're fine should be 1 billion it should be double what they save. Just sayin
