Has anyone done any beach or pier fishing around here in early June? I think it's late for pompano? What might else be around? We have a half day booked but hope to do some casting off the beach too or toss by some piers. Thanks in advance. Mark
Pompano in Michigan???? Where are you really?
I live in Michigan, traveling to Medira Beach in June. I'm waiting for the ice to melt so thinking about warmer days fishing lol
Ok. If you have pompano you should have flounder and whiting at least. Probably a lot if other warm water fish I'm not familiar with.

You're talking about Maderia Beach, off of Seminole FL, correct?
I was there in July a couple years ago in readington beach next to the old pier and a guy I met caught a couple really nice snook and redfish that was before the red tide of course
Were going to be on the gulf side, st Petersburg, clearwater beach area. I've seen some YouTube videos of people casting by st. John's pass and thought we could try that. We booked a half day trip out of Hubbard marina that should be fun too. Just wondering what we might be able to surf cast down there or would we be better off floating a shrimp off a 3 way swivel type setup
