Fishing yesterday morning with guide, Jason Courville....on his first cast he caught this 11.51 lbs. monster on a Carolina rig... we caught a 4lbs. And 3 lbs. afterward in same creek.

Both....it's a big lake but right now all the word is "fish are in the creeks and moving up to spawn in the shallow water"....

This is the time of year TB gives up a bunch of 10lb + bass. I've never heard of that guides location business. Not to say I wouldn't honor if one asked. Of course in this case I might be wondering why he was fishing instead of guiding me to an 11 lb hog. But, that's just me.

That's exactly what I have been thinkin. What's up with that? If it were me and I was payin a guide and he took me to HIS secret spot and then HE caught the 11+ pound bass, I don't think it would be a secret much longer. I'd tell anybody that had a boat and might take me back there without goin with that guide again. But that's just me.
