I used to fish the lakes around Blue Ridge, Ga. , Carters, Nottely, Chatuge, and Blue Ridge lake quite often. Been 10 years and these lakes have changed and now I'm back in the fishing mode once again. Hoping to gain some knowledge from some of the guys that have kept up on the fishing patterns. Been here 46 years and at 71 yrs young, I'm ready to catch a few fish again.
Thanks and save a few for seed. ;)

Well Dad, looks like you plan to be an awsome fisherman again. Take your time, because it will take some time to master all you will want to master, both the boat's electronics, the lakes, and obvioously the habits of the fish. Just Sayin...RJS

Thanks Robert. I've been out twice in the last week. The weather was nice, lakes (TVA) on the rise. Tough bite, but mostly a learning trip for me anyway. Been on the mend lately with my dialysis treatments, but I always feel just good enough to go fishing.

Take care, be safe.

Sweet looking craft Dad, congrats and welcome to the stage. Is that a 250 hp motor? can't make out the make of it either.

Nice rig! I got back into a Ranger (Z521) last year and love it. As far as the electronics go spend some time on You tube, I know I have! Also check out the BBC boards, lots of good info sharing on there for Ranger owners.

Stay safe and tight lines.
