Is there a baitcasting reel ratio that can be applied to all types of baitcasting?
Looking at 6.3, 7.3, and 8.1:1
Thoughts?

For me, 6.3 would be the most versatile.

I would suggest 8.1 it’s always easier to slow down then to speed up.

That seems to be a logical solution. I am just wondering how difficult it would be to slow down at that point.

Like he said, it’s easier to slow down than speed up. That being said I’d go for a 7.3 for an all rounder.
