Texas Gulf Coast Fish Kill

I'm not sure if this will work or not but here is the YouTube specs on a video taken over the weekend in the Port Aransas area. The kill is pretty extensive.

I have a buddy that lives at the lake of the ozarks he said you could see shad in the ice.

That's a great way to fish for Pike up here OZ. when the ice starts breaking up, throw a dead shiner on the ice,and drag it off the edge. The pike hang under the ice waiting for the frozen ones to fall out of the melting ice.

I bet it is, his uncles dock broke a cable and they dropped the lake about 7 feet not long after it iced over. He saw the shad when he was trying too help secure the dock until the ice is gone.

A lot of shallow water..+ freezing temps for a couple days or so= fish kill...fair amount of keepers in this kill..had been pretty mild till then....
