Baits for weedy ponds

There's a couple of ponds I fish that have Hydrilla in them for largemouth bass. What would be some good baita to use in them like some soft plastics or hard baits (preferably).

Weed less jigs with braided line. Creature trailer or worm.

Texas rigged worm, unweighted Senko, unweighted Fluke style soft Jerkshad. There aren't many Weedless hard baits. Are you fishing from a boat or the bank?

Try a weed less wacky rig, I fish in the same kind of ponds works GREAT for me!

You might try a lipless crankbait ( Ratl- Trap type). Just cast it and let it barely tick the top of the grass when you reel it back. Look for the reaction bite in grass . Try topwater baits like poppers, or whopper plopper types ( my preference), something noisy that will attract the fish. the other recommendations are excellent. Most of all use your confidence lures....My 2cents...
