Thought I would see if the fish are awake yet, very quiet, saw a few splashes but nothing in the clear shallow water. May be a few weeks before the water warms up a bit.
Looked so good when the sun came up.

Beautiful Ronnie. Looks like a LM Bass is just sitting in those weeds waiting for something to eat.🎣

Mostly swimbaits, they haven't let me down these last 3 years, bass can't get enough of them and it worked good last year on crappie

Yeah but when the water is like glass, you gotta start with a topwater. I'm lucky if I see 2 or 3days a year when the water is that flat.
Most mornings its calm like that until around 8.30 to 9. Summer time I'm finished by 10 as it starts to get steamy out there
Beautiful spot. Start at the far side which gets the first sun as that will warm up first. A small Jitterbug, Whopper Plopper or Choppo would give them a proper wake up call...
If you can’t get there, fan cast starting parallel to the bank and listen for the sound of a flat tire...wop wop wop wop and get ready for some fun!
Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful spot. Them bass need a wakeup call for sure. I'm jealous, moved from Austin, TX to Grand Junction, CO first of the year and can't get a resident hunting or fishing license for six long months. I'll take the great grandkids fishing and if we start catching may have to shell out the $100 for the non-resident license.

Went looking at a couple/3 spots we like here a few days ago. 1st little pond was damn near dry, so I hope it gets some snow melt or Rain in the next month or all those fish will dry up and die before summer. The last one I couldn’t get to, too much Snow on a pass road for the vehicle I took. Next month will tell.
