This is probably gonna sound dumb but I have about 75-100 yards of 30lb braided line on my spinning rod and am changing it out for 20lb and was wondering if I can reuse that line I take off it’s an 6 months old but I don’t have a lot of money should I just throw it out?

6 month old braid will be fine to reuse, no problem.

Would be ok, when you reuse it reverse it so it'll be like new

Braid lasts for a couple/few years.

Put some backing on another reel and put the used braid on the second reel to fill the spool. It will be just like new.

Braid will last for years , I simply cut back most used portions and it holds up fine !
I’ve had some of mine on my saltwater rods over 5 seasons still tests like new
Finally you can reverse bottom of spool to top just add backing to fill spool if required

Don't throw it away! You can use it as plumb bob line, whipping the ends of rope, string, tying rigs, teaching kids how to tie knots, etc.
