Get up knuckleheads, ding dongs and assorted angling humanoids. Hump day. 70 and sunny here. A early spring preview.

A little boy is in his yard and kills a honey bee. His father says, "Honey bees are important. We don't kill them. No honey for you for a week." Later that day, his sister catches a butterfly and pulls the wings off it. Again, her angry father says, "Butterflies are important. We don't pull the wings off them. No playing outside for a week.

Later that day, the man's wife sees a cockroach and stomps on it. The little boy looks at his father and says, "Do you want to tell her or should I?"

Have a good one clones.

Morning guys, Gonna try out a new spot for Crappie today, we'll see how that goes. Maybe we'll find those bigger Black nose crappie today. Going with an old friend today so I guess I'll have to bait my own hook.

Mornin all,
36 now and maybe 40 later. Snow piles are starting to shrink and sump pumps are starting to kick on. I dug out sections of the ditch to allow the warm air to get at the sump pump discharges to keep them running. The ditch was almost hip deep in spots. I have about 60’ to clear to ensure I can get the water to the storm sewer. Have to save the neighbor’s basements , too. It got to 45 yesterday and felt awesome with the sunshine.

Morning all. 30* right now with clear skies. Going all the way up to 54 today. Spent yesterday in Cabelas picking through the fresh water gear. If I shop a little here and there it shows up in different places on the credit card. I pay all the bills anyway, so I get away with a lot anyway. Going to try a couple creeks I was told about while shopping. Evidently the white perch are around and reasonably hungry.

Yes but people here say when the water is slick like this the fish doesn’t bite but I have caught plenty with the water slick I feel when they are hungry they hit no matter what the water is like right now the red and black drum are biting back in the Morse and creeks

It looks like a mouse but I guess he was hungry because it looks like a big meal

If I’m lucky enough to catch it like that, topwater is unbelievable. Especially when the trout and reds bust the hell out of it.
