In response to my wife inquiring when I was going to stop putting money in the boat I told her all the big things except downriggers were done, mentioning that I had just ordered two of these really really nice orthopedic seats. She asked how much were those, I said $200 each, it wasn't the time to include the adjustable height pedestals at another $109ea. She said no, she didn't need a seat, cancel that order. I wasn't going to argue if she said she didn't need or want a seat, I did. My butt was getting really uncomfortable toward the end of a day, and a second day in a row was a deal breaker. These are super comfortable looking orthopedic seats.

So telling her the things I needed to do, one of which is mounting the seat, she said she thought we had agreed not to get them, I was laughing and told her no, that wasn't what I had agreed to, I just agreed with her saying she didn't want a new seat. She was looking at this seat and saying wow, it looks really nice, I'll try it and if I like it you can order one for me too.

I have ordered and will be installing an Airwave seat pedestal for my wife next week. She always ends up with back pains on our fishing trip and I decided to get her a seat that had adjustable air shocks. I have not even told her yet because I am sure she would not want us to spend the money on it. After all it costs more than a good recliner for the house but I figure the time spend sitting on it fishing is better time spend than sitting on a recliner watching TV. As much as I might have liked the same seat could not afford two of them them and I am willing to put up with more fishing than she is. I'll post how it worked out after this fishing season. Got to keep your wife happy while fishing
