These will work sometimes but nothing is guaranteed

Anything small enough to fit in their mouths. I’ve used chewing gum with excellent results
I usually will get a used plastic worm and trim it down with scissors.
Red worms or small pieces of my crawler
Small crappie tubes on a 1/32 oz jig head
Not as good as live bait but it will catch em.

These are all good, just troll them slowly or cast and retrieve. Have fun !!!
MAS fish
I've had big ones hit 2-1/2 " tubes. Tossed a crankbait next to a dock post. Left it settle on top. Gave it a couple of twitches n a big gill inhaled the rear treble. The have little crankbaits n jerkbaits that work well. If you have worms with you put a small piece of worm on the rear hook.

Pieces of worms are a never fail.
Mini tube jigs with a gulp power maggot tipped on hook catches every species of panfish!!!
Jig head with a small plastic grub, #6 or #8 hook.
