I'm new to here, would like to hear from others all about Fishing, Crabbing , Clamming the southern Oregon coast area.Also outa Crescent City CA. I have two boats and have been fishing the Pacific for 55 years.
Welcome Sfrick. I live in Medford, so don't get to the coast as often as I would like to. Wish I could help with advice, but my knowledge is pretty limited to the Chetco and chinooks, silvers and Steelhead, and that is limited to upstream, far beyond the "estuary", as it were.
Would love to be a "contributing deckhand/fisherman" sometime, if you are looking. InLandlubber all my life, have boats... just not salt-worthy, but in my retirement, trying to expand my horizons. PM me, if you like, it's only a 2+ hour drive from here to there and I have been known to be a spontaneous kind of guy, with a few bucks to "invest in the furtherance if my education".
