On Feb 17 someone caught a 4.44 pound crappie. It beat a long standing record by 4 oz
I have no clue how to post a link so I took a picture of the link
If someone knows how to post this , please do. Definitely worth a look

Ben if you look at the top of the page you’ll see fishingstage.com. Tap it once and it will highlight. Tap your finger on it again and a cut, copy, search window will pop up. Select copy and in your post tap the blinking cursor and select paste. I’m doing this on my phone. If you’re doing it on a computer you can highlight with your mouse and cut and paste.

I can remember fishing for crappie at clear lake as a kid back in the early 60’s. It’s one of the best fisheries in the country...🐟on

Apparently so, wow!

I saw that show up a couple days ago as what I saw as clickbait and had no idea what to do with it.

Thanks for trying Ben.

Thanks for fixing it Four!

Now I have to go back to try and find the story about the kids who are traveling around in hopes of catching the State Fish in each state before starting college.

I was reading that the school of crappie everyone is fishing at Clear Lake right now is so big that 40 to 50 boats a day are fishing on top of the school with plenty of room between boats. I can't even get my mind around a school that big.

What you waiting on? You’re about 75 miles away. Get that boat hooked up and catch some. 😁😁😁

Thanks Ben and thanks Fourchon.
I’ve never fished Clear lake but I’ve fished New Hogan a lot but never caught anything near that size. Holy cow!

Tomorrow but, not for Crappie. I've put enough bad chemicals in my body over my lifetime. Not going to willingly add mercury to the list.
